Hey everyone, I've been digging into Bryce Forbes' disappearance lately, and something that's sticking out to me is the location—La Conner, WA. It's a small town, and you'd think someone vanishing without a trace in such a close-knit community would be harder to pull off. Anyone have insights on the local scene there back in '97? Was it a place with a lot of transient traffic, or more of a quiet, off-the-beaten-path kind of vibe? I wonder if the local dynamics might have played a role in the lack of leads over the years. Anyone familiar with the area during that time?
I can't help but wonder if there's more to Bryce's disappearance than initially meets the eye. I was digging through some old newspaper articles and came across a mention of unusual weather in La Conner around March 1997, with a particularly severe storm hitting the area. Could it be possible that the storm somehow played a role in his disappearance? Maybe washed away some potential evidence or made searches especially challenging back then? Sometimes natural events get overlooked in investigations. Has anyone else connected the dots with the weather conditions? Any thoughts?
