Just saw some updates about this tragic case, and there’s one thing that really stuck with me. I can’t stop thinking about the couple’s neighbors who heard the gunshot. It's difficult to imagine how they must be feeling right now. Living next door and suddenly faced with such a traumatic event must be terrifying. It’s such a stark reminder of how domestic violence affects not just the immediate people involved but also the wider community. I really hope they're receiving support and counseling to help cope with what they've experienced. And of course, my heart goes out to Denise’s family and friends. It’s unimaginable to comprehend their loss. This case just leaves an aching sense of loss and confusion, and I sincerely hope justice is served.
