I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic events that took place in Hyde Park on that July evening. It's incredibly difficult to imagine the pain and suffering that the families of Clayton Manning and Jerome Cunningham must be experiencing. I grew up around 59th and Crenshaw, and it's devastating to see how violence continues to impact our community. What really strikes me about this case is the lack of information we have about the suspects. With so few details about the vehicle or the individuals involved, it feels like we're all left in the dark. The silence is unsettling. Why would anyone target these men? They were just living their lives when this unthinkable act unfolded. I hope that anyone who might have seen or heard something will come forward. I believe that someone out there knows something, even if it's just a small detail. Clayton and Jerome deserve justice, and their families deserve answers. In times like these, it's crucial for us to come together as a community and support one another. Let's keep their loved ones in our thoughts and remain hopeful that the truth will come to light soon.
