I came across Lisa Pearl Briseno's case recently and couldn't stop thinking about the significance of finding her boyfriend's white 1983 BMW. It's so puzzling to me that the vehicle was found, but there's no trace of Lisa herself. Does anyone know if there were any notable signs in or around the car when it was recovered? Like, was it abandoned in a strange place or did it have any personal belongings of hers inside that might give a clue about what happened? The fact that her case is still open more than two decades later is a grim reminder of the challenges faced by the families of missing and murdered Indigenous women. It's crucial for the Portland Police Bureau and all of us to keep this in the public eye, hoping that anyone with even the tiniest bit of information will come forward. Has there been any recent media attention or efforts to re-examine old evidence? Any update would be appreciated.
