Has anyone else noticed how often cases like Jessica McDonald's seem to slip through the cracks when water's involved? It's so frustrating that despite modern technology and search efforts, bodies can just... vanish. Her case has been cold for years, and I can't help but feel for her family, left in this endless limbo. It also makes me think about how many of these unsolved mysteries involve Indigenous women. There needs to be more attention and resources directed towards these cases. Does anyone else have thoughts on how we could push for more visibility for this and similar cases?

Has anyone else been following the updates about Jessica McDonald's case lately? I was reading through some old articles, and I came across something interesting about the Skagit Crab skiff they were on. I read that the boat had been in for repairs just a week before the incident. Does anyone know if there was ever a deeper look into whether any mechanical failure might have contributed to the boat sinking? It just seems like a strange coincidence, and I can't help but wonder if there might be more to that aspect of the story. I've heard about some similar cases where small craft had unseen mechanical issues, which makes you wonder about all the possible angles! Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone heard more about this!
