I’m deeply saddened by what happened to Jalin Rios and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I'm curious about the community response afterward. I heard the Niagara Falls SNUG program held spaces for therapeutic support. Does anyone know more about how these spaces have been received by the community so far? Have they helped bring people together or fostered any new initiatives for preventing violence in the area? I think it’s so important for communities to have these resources after such a tragedy. It feels like these efforts are crucial in preventing more violence and offering somewhere for people to process together. If anyone is familiar with their work or has participated, I’d love to hear more about the impact it’s having.
