Has anyone else been following the Courtney Chandler case in Ramona? I’ve been thinking a lot about the complexities of relationships and how things can get so out of hand. It’s incredibly tough to wrap my head around how a modern open relationship could lead to such a horrific outcome. There are always two sides to every story, yet it’s hard to comprehend what was going through Ryan Proffitt’s mind that night. Why couldn't he just walk away? My heart goes out to the families involved; their lives are forever changed by this tragedy. It goes to show how devastating jealousy can become when mixed with other emotions. It’s such a pressing reminder of how fragile life is and how critical it is for anyone in difficult relationships to seek help before things escalate to an irreversible point.
