I just can't stop thinking about the vigil held for Steve and Giovanna last night. The way the community came together to honor their lives was really touching, but it left me feeling so unsettled about the future. It's devastating that two young lives were cut short with no answers in sight. I watched as families lit candles and placed flowers, hoping to find some comfort in unity, but there's still such a palpable sense of fear that lingers over everyone here. I overheard some of the neighbors discussing how they had to assure their kids that they were safe, and it broke my heart to hear mothers and fathers struggling to find the right words. It's hard to believe this happened in our neighborhood, where kids used to play in the streets until dusk. Does anyone else feel like things will never quite go back to normal? I hope the police can provide some answers soon, not just to bring the perpetrator to justice, but to help this community start healing. Until then, let's continue to support each other as much as we can. If anyone hears something new from the investigators, please share. We need to stay united in these trying times.
