I came across this case while browsing news from Rocky Mount. It's been really difficult to wrap my head around what happened to Courtney Crocker. I’m curious if anyone has any insight into the relationship between Crocker and the suspect, Herman Dickens. From what I’ve read, there seems to be a lot that's not being said yet. I know the community is small and sometimes folks are more intertwined than we realize. Did they have any known issues before this tragedy? My heart goes out to Courtney's family and friends. It’s devastating to think about the anger or motives that might drive someone to such a terrible act. If any locals have more info, especially about their background or any community context, it might help to understand this senseless loss a bit better. Does anyone have thoughts on what might have sparked this?
