I just can't stop thinking about the people who were there at the Price Chopper that day. How incredibly traumatic it must have been for those just trying to go about a regular day and suddenly thrown into such chaos. I was reading the accounts of the two armed citizens who intervened, and it's both chilling and awe-inspiring. They really put their lives on the line to try and stop further tragedy, and while it's sad that Amy Coon lost her life, who knows how many more could have been hurt or worse if those individuals hadn't stepped up. It's not something you'd ever expect to happen in a small town like Pleasant Hill. My heart goes out to Amy's family and everyone affected. I hope they find some comfort in knowing the community stands with them during this unimaginable time.
