I've been following the case of Katrina Wheeler's tragic death, and I'm finding it really hard to wrap my head around the layers of this story. Something that's been weighing on my mind is the presence of Katrina's brother, Pito, during the incident. It's just unimaginable to think about the trauma he must be dealing with after witnessing his sister being shot and getting injured himself. He's probably grappling with so many emotions—pain, guilt, anger. I hope he gets the support he needs to heal, both physically and emotionally. It's such a horrifying situation, especially knowing this was all tied to an ongoing domestic violence issue. Pito's courage to be there with Katrina during such a volatile time speaks volumes about his character and love for his sister. Keeping him and the whole family in my thoughts as they navigate this nightmare. Does anyone know if there's been any community outreach to support both him and Katrina's kids?
