Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Loreal Young closely, and I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy has on the Broadmoor community. I can't wrap my head around how a neighborhood can move past something like this, especially when it seems like gun violence is becoming all too common. I wonder about the role of community support and what we can do to help shift towards safety and healing. It also makes me question what led Charles Stevenson to surrender so quickly. It's not something we see often in these cases, and I can't help but think there's more that might come out about the dynamic between him and Loreal. My heart goes out to Loreal’s friends and family, who are navigating such an unimaginable loss while also waiting for answers. Does anyone have thoughts or insights into how communities have responded to similar situations? How can we support them in a meaningful way beyond the immediate aftermath?
