I cannot believe another young life has been tragically taken away. My heart goes out to Terry Corona-Tenorio's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. I’ve been following the case closely, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the eeriness of the location where it happened. The 1800 block of Francis Avenue SE, right there in Grand Rapids, has always seemed so quiet and, frankly, safe. It’s unsettling to think that such violence can erupt anywhere, even in places we've always felt were secure. Does anyone else familiar with the area feel the same? It just makes me wonder how well we really know the places we think of as home. It's a stark reminder, I guess, that these heinous acts can touch any community, no matter how peaceful it may seem. I hope anyone who might have seen or heard something that night comes forward with information. People might underestimate what they know or have seen, but every little detail might help get justice for Terry and provide some comfort to his family.
