Has anyone else been following the details about the weapon used in the case of Aaisha Abdulla, her sons, and the other victim on Grant Street? I read somewhere that investigators believe it was the same gun used in all four killings. It's terrifying to think about how someone could turn a firearm on their own family and then use it again in a public place. I can't even begin to wrap my mind around the horror. The fact that there could be a single weapon tying all these incidents together paints such a picture of cold premeditation. Like, did he have this all planned out, or was it just a perfect storm of rage and irrationality? It also makes me wonder about the system's role in screening gun ownership. Could this tragedy have been avoided with stricter measures in place? My heart truly goes out to their loved ones and the entire community that's been rocked by this nightmare. My thoughts are with them as they try to pick up the pieces and seek justice.
