I’ve been following the Alex Carl Wilson case, and the more I think about it, the more I’m struck by the tragedy of it all, especially for the child caught in the middle of this nightmare. A child pickup should be such a routine thing, but for it to devolve into such violence is unfathomable. I can’t imagine what this child must be going through—having their father taken away in such a cruel manner and now their mother’s boyfriend being at the center of this mess. It's devastating for a family unit to end up shattered like this. The fact that Jackson fled the scene in the child’s mother’s car adds another layer of chaos to an already volatile situation. It makes me wonder about the sequence of events leading up to his decision to pull the trigger. There were clearly unresolved issues boiling under the surface, but to resort to murder? This wasn’t just a lapse in judgment; it was a devastating choice with irreversible consequences. My heart really goes out to the child and other family members grappling with this horrible reality. It's going to be a rough road to recovery emotionally, and I hope they have a strong support system around them. Hug the ones you love, because you truly never know what tomorrow might bring.
