I can't stop thinking about the children who were there during such a traumatic moment. It just breaks my heart knowing that this was a custody exchange—something that millions of families handle all the time without incident—yet it turned into a nightmare. Those poor kids had to witness something no child should ever see, and they've been robbed of their father as well. It's a stark reminder of how quickly things can escalate, and how families can be caught in situations far beyond their control. I truly hope the kids and all the family members involved receive the emotional support and care they desperately need right now. My thoughts go out to Davontay’s loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.
