It's so tragic what happened to Raphael Gowans and how a peaceful neighborhood like Berry Lane turned into a crime scene overnight. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I've been reading updates, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of community tip lines in cases like this. I mean, here we have Eric Martin Jr. potentially still on the run, and it's crucial that anyone who might have seen or heard something steps up. It must be terrifying for the people of Whiteville knowing someone considered armed and dangerous is possibly still around. But without reliable info from the community, catching someone who's evaded law enforcement can be like finding a needle in a haystack. From what I've seen in similar cases, it's those little details from everyday people that can break things wide open for investigators. Even if it's something that seems insignificant, it could be the missing piece that ties everything together. I hope that the residents feel safe enough to share what they know and that people realize how much of an impact they can have just by speaking up. Praying for some peace and resolution here, not just for Raphael's loved ones but for everyone in Whiteville. Stay safe, everyone.
