Has anyone else noticed how the location of Tacari's murder was so close to the "Think Outside Da Block" event? I keep thinking about how these events are supposed to promote peace and community togetherness, and yet something so tragic happened right afterward. It's almost as if the universe was trying to send a message about how fragile peace can be. I've been following this case closely, and it breaks my heart to think about Tacari and the man who died, especially because they were likely just innocent bystanders. How do we even begin to change the narrative in areas like West Englewood when violence seems to persist despite efforts to eradicate it? To everyone who knew and loved Tacari, I can't imagine the pain you're going through, but know that there are people out here thinking of you and hoping for justice.
