Hey everyone, I'm sure you've all been following the tragedy in Berea, and like many, I'm trying to make sense of how such a tragic event could happen in our community. My thoughts have been particularly with Brian Switzer's family. It's hard to imagine the pain his wife and children are going through right now, losing a husband and father so suddenly and senselessly. I've been thinking about how critical community support is in times like these, not just emotionally but practically. I read that some fundraisers have been set up to help the families (does anyone have more info on this?). It's heartening to see people come together, even in the smallest ways, to support those affected by such a horrible act. Does anyone have details on any upcoming community events or more ways we can help the Switzer and Edwards families? It feels like we need to stand together now more than ever.
