Did anyone else notice how quiet the police have been about Nelson Urrutia Jr.'s case? It’s been months now, and there hasn’t been any information about a suspect or even a motive behind the shooting. I understand these investigations take time, but the silence is really unsettling. I can't imagine what his family, especially his children, are going through without any answers. I keep wondering if there are any leads that just haven't been shared with the public. In such a tight-knit area like Gage Park, it feels like someone must have seen something. Maybe people are afraid to come forward? The community is clearly hurting, but there's also a lot of fear surrounding gun violence. I really hope the family is receiving the support they need, both emotionally and financially. The GoFundMe campaign they set up was a good step, and it's nice to see the community rallying in some way, but they deserve justice and peace of mind. If anyone has updates or ways to support, let's keep sharing them here. Nelson and his family deserve answers.
