I still can't wrap my head around what happened on Vandiver Drive. Lorrie Peake was a long-time neighbor, and it's hard to believe something so tragic unfolded in that quiet corner of Marietta. It's just devastating for the family and friends who now have to face these tragic events. My heart goes out to anyone affected by this incident. What really gets me is how mental health issues can escalate to such a severe outcome. It seems like there's so much work to be done in recognizing and addressing the signs before things get to this point. Does anyone know if William had access to mental health resources or support before this occurred? It just seems like such a tragic end that maybe could have been prevented. I'd love to hear thoughts or insights from others. Has anyone else noticed a shift in how law enforcement deals with situations involving mental health?
