I can hardly wrap my head around what happened to the Mitchell family, especially those two innocent kids. My thoughts are with their extended family and everyone who knew them; I can't even imagine the pain they're experiencing right now. Something that’s been eating at me is why there weren't any signs or warnings? It’s unsettling to think that there wasn’t a history of domestic issues, at least not on record. Makes you wonder what was happening behind closed doors and how we, as friends or community members, can be more attuned to hidden struggles before it's too late. It's clear from the foundation being set up that Thy's family is determined to make sure something positive comes out of this tragedy, but it's just so hard to comprehend the senselessness of it all. Hug your loved ones a bit tighter today, folks; you never know what tomorrow might bring.
