I’ve been thinking a lot about the brave 33-year-old woman and little 4-year-old who managed to escape that terrible night on Croesus Avenue. It must have taken immense courage and quick thinking to get out unharmed amidst such chaos and danger. I can only imagine the emotional trauma they must be dealing with right now. Living through an experience like that, where you witness the loss and brutality so up-close, leaves scars that go beyond the physical. I just hope the community can rally around them, offering the support and care they so desperately need. Being in that house during such an event must have been terrifying, and the road to healing will likely be long and challenging. It’s a somber reminder of how important it is for communities and support systems to step up in times like these and help survivors find their way forward. Sending thoughts and strength to every survivor touched by this tragedy.
