I can't shake the thought of how this tragic event could have been avoided. It's incredibly alarming to hear that multiple people involved had weapons ready to be drawn during a public celebration like this. How did a fun night out on Cinco de Mayo turn so deadly so quickly? ? My heart goes out to Mykal’s family. Being an innocent bystander makes it all the more devastating. His two young kids have to grow up without their father because of senseless violence. It's reassuring that the police acted quickly to detain suspects, but the lack of information on the investigation is unsettling. Has anyone heard anything about the security measures that were in place at the restaurant? It makes you wonder if more could have been done to prevent this. Sending strength and love to everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss, and hope that justice is served soon.
