I’m trying to wrap my head around how senseless all of this is. My heart goes out to Dennis Johnson’s family and the two kids who had to witness such a traumatic event. It’s scary to think that something as minor as a verbal spat can escalate so quickly and have such devastating consequences. The fact that Dennis, who was just doing a favor for a friend, ended up losing his life is deeply unsettling. How do we as a community even begin to address this level of violence? Everyone involved will forever be changed by this horrific event. I hope justice is served and that we can find ways to prevent tragedies like this in the future. Stay safe, everyone.
