I’ve been following the Timothy Meyer case closely, and the more I learn, the more questions I have. It’s so senseless and tragic. I keep coming back to the video footage. If the police have clear evidence showing Timothy’s movements, how could anyone argue there was a real threat? The video seems to directly contradict Raul Perez’s claim of feeling threatened. It’s eerie to think this footage captures the last moments of Timothy's life. His family and friends have to relive those awful moments, all while grappling with how such a misunderstanding escalated to such a terrible outcome. I really hope justice prevails, but it's hard to fathom how they all cope with this profound loss. The reality is, this is someone’s son, brother, maybe a friend to many, and that void is now permanent. It’s a poignant reminder of how quickly life can change—and for what? A young man's routine act of kindness, going to walk his girlfriend home, should never have led to this. My thoughts go out to everyone affected.
