There's something that's been on my mind about Ashley Rose Jackson’s case. It’s so difficult to wrap my head around the fact that this happened in such a public place, right in the middle of the afternoon at a museum parking lot. It raises so many questions about signs that may have been missed or if there were opportunities for intervention. What's also weighing heavily on my heart is thinking about how this event affected those who witnessed it or the first responders who arrived on scene. The trauma from unexpectedly encountering such an event can be significant, and I truly hope they have access to whatever support they need. Additionally, I can't help but wonder about the community resources in place for domestic violence victims in this area. Are there programs actively reaching out, or could more be done to support those in similar situations to prevent future tragedies? I hope this case sparks more conversations about strengthening support systems for everyone involved. We owe it to Ashley and others in similar circumstances to try to prevent something like this from happening again.
