Has anyone else noticed the proximity of Karen Damon's remains to Narrows Road? I can't shake the feeling there's some significance to the location. It's just 12 miles from her home, but in 1980, that kind of distance would have offered the privacy someone with malicious intent could have exploited. Was there any other notable activity mentioned around that area in those years? Any other incidents or missing person cases that somehow link back there? It’s chilling to think her killer had possibly planned this by choosing that spot.
Also, I'm curious if locals from that time might remember anything unusual about the days leading up to April 13, 1980. Salamance is a small community, and perhaps someone saw something odd but didn’t realize the importance of it at the time. My heart goes out to Karen’s family and friends. They’ve been waiting so long for answers; hoping for a break in the case seems like a small ask in the face of such a tragedy.
