Just saw the news about the tragic death of Wilber Quib-Cuc, and my heart aches for his family and friends. I find myself thinking about the role of ShotSpotter technology in cases like this one. It's incredible that the system detected the gunshot and allowed police to respond so quickly. I wonder if it will play a significant role in the prosecution and how often this kind of technology actually helps solve cases. Sometimes, I think technology like this can be a double-edged sword, but in Wilber's case, I'm hoping it will bring justice for him and his loved ones. Does anyone know of other instances where ShotSpotter made a big difference in investigations? Keeping the Quib-Cuc family in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
