I've been following the discussion about Hunter Trey Hoover's case, and something that keeps crossing my mind is the impact this has had on his classmates. I've read how Preston High School has really rallied around his family and friends, but I can't help but wonder how his peers are coping with losing someone who was likely such a bright part of their days. High school is such a formative time, and having a classmate pass away so unexpectedly must be incredibly difficult. It's times like these where the sense of community really shows its importance. I hope the school continues offering support to these young people, and that they find comfort in one another and their shared memories of Hunter. It's clear from what I've read that he was truly cherished, and losing someone with such a positive spirit affects everyone in different ways. My heart goes out to all of them, and I hope the message of cherishing every moment and supporting one another remains strong in Bruceton Mills.
