Does anyone else find it suspicious that the suspects were quickly detained but still managed to hide or misplace the firearm? It seems odd that there weren’t more immediate reports on it—especially since the murders involved gunshot wounds. Law enforcement mentioned recovering a firearm near where Schussolin tried to flee, but we haven't heard definitive connections linking it to the murders. Given the violent nature of the crime, the presence of a weapon is a critical piece, and any delay in confirming these details is unsettling. I know investigations take time, but the uncertainty leaves so many questions. I really feel for Desiree's family; they're left in this agonizing limbo while trying to process their loss in the midst of such a chaotic and under-explained sequence of events. Would love to hear what everyone else thinks about this aspect of the case; does anyone have thoughts or info on how long these confirmations usually take in similar situations?
