I've been following Heath Riley Reams' case, and something that's always bugged me is the location where they found his 4Runner. It’s incredibly puzzling why it was left in such a remote pasture near Jennings. Did Amanda have ties to that area, or did she just randomly pick it to throw people off? I wonder if anyone local to Jennings has any insights about that spot being significant for other reasons. Sometimes old cases have these little location clues that break open new leads. Anyone familiar with that area who could share why it might have been chosen?
It’s so puzzling that Heath's car was locked when they found it in that remote pasture. If Amanda really was involved, how did the 4Runner get out there without anyone noticing? And why leave it locked and intact if there were any efforts to cover things up?
I'm also curious if there was any significance to the location. Was it a spot familiar to Heath, Amanda, or Todd? It just seems odd to go all the way out there unless there's some connection. With no signs of foul play, it makes one wonder if there’s more to discover around that area. Feels like this case still has some untapped leads, especially with his remains still missing. Hope someone connected to Jennings might have insight.
I find it really odd that Heath left all his belongings, including his money and credit cards, when he supposedly left Amanda and Todd’s home. I mean, if you were going through personal issues or even something intense like a divorce, wouldn't you at least take your essentials with you? It seems strange to me that he wouldn’t prepare for however long he planned to be away. The fact that his 4Runner was found locked and abandoned in such a remote area just adds another layer of confusion. It makes me wonder if he ever really left on his own accord that morning or if something happened to him before he even got the chance. Anyone have thoughts on what might have really happened that morning?
