Did anyone see the vigil for Sean Butler at Schiller Park? It was such a moving tribute to who he was and the impact he had on our community. The releasing of the balloons was especially poignant, you could feel the love and loss in the air. It's incredible to hear how Sean devoted his time to helping the youth stay out of trouble. What's most baffling is that his life was cut short while trying to do just that—protect the kids. I can't imagine how his family and friends must be feeling right now; his mother seemed particularly shattered. It must be incredibly hard knowing there are people out there who may have seen something and haven’t come forward yet. If anyone was near Sprenger Avenue that evening or noticed anything unusual, even if it seems insignificant, please reach out to the authorities. We have to do everything we can to get justice for Sean and his family. Let's hope someone finds the courage to speak up soon.
