Did anyone else feel a chill when reading about how the gunman fled on a Citi Bike? It's so unsettling to think that something like this could happen so abruptly and the suspect could just ride off amid the chaos. I'm not from NYC, but I’ve heard Citi Bikes are pretty common there, making it almost too easy to blend in and get away, at least momentarily. My heart goes out to Mr. Carter’s family and friends. No one should have to deal with such a tragedy, especially when they’re already grieving from another loss. It’s strange to think how everyday objects like a bike can become part of such a horrifying incident. It reminds us all how crucial community vigilance is in times like these.
