I've been following the case of Lisa and Kevin Garner on and off, and something that caught my attention is the absence of prior domestic issues on public record. From friends and family speaking out, there seemed to be no apparent signs that something like this could happen. It’s baffling how behind closed doors, situations can be so vastly different from the reality perceived by those on the outside. My heart goes out to their loved ones who are undoubtedly struggling to make sense of this tragic situation. The facade of normalcy can be so deceptive, and it just goes to show how important it is to check in with those around us, even when everything appears fine on the surface. Society often overlooks subtle cries for help, which can sometimes escalate into such tragedies. Does anyone else have thoughts on how the community can better support one another in times of silent suffering?
