Just when you think you've heard it all, another tragedy strikes, and this one hits very close to home. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Kamarcus Sowell-Butler. It's just so difficult to grasp how something like this could happen among a group of friends. The details about the gathering on Autumn Village Drive are haunting. These were just kids hanging out, and now there's such an unimaginable loss. For those of us following the case, it's hard to see another young life lost and another facing such serious charges. Damien Grier's arrest adds layers of complexity to an already devastating situation. Some people are saying it might have been an accident, but that doesn't take away the pain or bring back Kamarcus. I'm really hoping this incident encourages some serious dialogue on gun safety.
