I can’t help but feel for Tanika, her daughter, and all the victims of domestic violence who live with such fear. It makes me wonder what more can be done within the system to enforce restraining orders more effectively, so people like Tanika can feel a semblance of safety and security in their own lives. My heart goes out to her daughter, Eriauna, who showed immense courage in the face of such terror. No one should ever have to endure what she did. ?
