Was anyone else struck by the community reaction after Milton Bankston's tragic death at Summit Square? It’s clear that folks living in that area are fed up and scared. I read about the vigil they organized, and it seemed like all ages came together to mourn Milton and call for change. A lot of locals are vocal about how things need to improve now, not later. I remember one resident sharing how she fears for her kids every time they step outside—and that's no way for anyone to live. The repeated violence needs to be addressed seriously by local authorities. Sending my deepest sympathies to Milton's family and hoping the community finds the safety and peace they deserve. It’s time for concrete action, Dayton.
