I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on Legend's school community. I read that he was a student at Mallard Creek High School, and I can't even imagine what his classmates and teachers are going through right now. Losing a friend and student in such a violent way must be incredibly difficult. I've seen how schools often rally together to support each other in tough times, and I hope Mallard Creek is no different. It makes me wonder if they're offering counseling services or organizing any memorials for Legend. It's crucial for his peers to find a way to process their emotions and share their memories of him. If anyone from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district or someone connected to the school could share how the school is coping or if there's a way for the community to support them, that would be helpful. Let's keep Legend and all those affected in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this painful situation.
