I’ve been following this case closely, and one thing that really stands out is how Zion was such a force of positivity in his community. It's just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that someone with such a bright future could be taken so suddenly. I read that he was posthumously honored as prom king, which goes to show the impact he had on his peers. It’s a testament to the love and respect he garnered from those around him. I can’t help but think about the ripple effect this tragedy has on Zion’s friends and classmates. Graduating from high school without one of your closest friends must feel surreal. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family must be feeling. My heart truly goes out to Zion's mom during her recovery and in dealing with the loss of her amazing children. It’s clear that Zion’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
