I’ve been following Shawna Grove’s tragic case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact on her children. Losing a mother in such a violent way is absolutely devastating, and I worry about how they'll process this tragedy as they grow up. It’s comforting to see how the Billings community has rallied around them, but it’s a reminder of how critical it is to have resources in place for children affected by domestic violence. I hope the local authorities and community groups can work together to ensure that these kids get the psychological support and stability they’ll need in the years to come. It’s so hard to understand how love can turn into something so dangerous and destructive, and it just breaks my heart thinking of what the family is going through.
