Hey folks, I've been following the Orangevale tragedy, and I can't stop thinking about the alleged suspect, John Clarke. I knew him to some extent from my visits to the Sunshine Mobile Village, and it's just so hard to process. From what I saw, he was usually a quiet guy, kept to himself mostly. It's perplexing and so incredibly sad to think he might have been involved in something so horrific. What stands out to me is trying to grapple with the "why" behind all this. I think those who knew him are on edge, wondering how tensions could have escalated to such a tragic point. More than anything, it’s just hard for those in the community to reconcile the person they thought they knew with the person being accused of such violence. I hope that in time some light will be shed on what triggered this terrible event, though it won't bring Sue and Russ back to their loved ones. For everyone dealing with this sudden loss, my heart truly goes out to you. May Sue and Russ receive the justice and peace they deserve, and may their families find some solace amid all this turmoil.
