Hey everyone, This is such a tragic event, and my heart goes out to Malachi Hayes' family and friends. I was reading about his murder, and it really struck me how the community is rallying together in the wake of his death. I noticed there’s a celebration of life planned at his old high school—Sam Houston High. I think it's a testament to how impactful he was during his time there, not just as an athlete but as a person. Losing someone so young and with so much potential is a devastating blow, and I hope this gathering brings some comfort to those who knew him and allows them to share stories and memories. It's unbelievably sad when someone with such a bright future is taken away so suddenly. Has anyone heard if the police have made any progress in the investigation?
