Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic incident on Faringdon Drive and something that really sticks with me is how Donald Thomas stepped in trying to de-escalate things. It seems like he genuinely wanted to prevent it from escalating any further, and it's just so sad to see how it turned out. Does anyone else think that these kinds of scenarios sometimes get overlooked? It feels important to acknowledge the courage it takes to step into a heated situation like that. My heart goes out to Donald's family and friends. It's hard to imagine what they're going through right now. Also, curious if anyone has thoughts on efforts that communities might put in place to prevent similar situations in the future. How can we better support conflict resolution skills or community programs that could potentially stop these tragedies from occurring?
