I've been thinking a lot about the families of Antonio Jamal Brown and Jamar Brooks Hailey. The entire community must be feeling the weight of this tragedy, and I can't even begin to imagine what their loved ones are going through right now. It's scary to think that such violence occurred in a seemingly peaceful neighborhood. It's somewhat comforting to know that the investigators have identified a person of interest. But it's frustrating that the person hasn't been found yet. I hope the person responsible is brought to justice soon, not just for the sake of the community's safety, but to offer some peace to their families. They deserve answers, and they deserve justice for what was done. If anyone local has more insight or if there's been any community-led initiatives to support the families, I'd love to hear about it. It seems like something we'd all want to rally around as we wait for more answers from the authorities.
