I just keep thinking about the friends and classmates of Khloe Hudson and Terry Burrell Jr. at Lanier High School. I can't even begin to imagine the shock and sorrow they're going through right now. To lose two young, vibrant classmates so suddenly and violently must be incredibly hard for them. I hope the school is providing all the necessary support, like counseling and spaces to grieve. Dealing with grief at such a young age is never easy, and the added pressure of having it happen so publicly must be overwhelming. It's also a reminder of how important it is for young people to feel safe and supported enough to share if they notice anything suspicious with either their peers or trusted adults. I truly hope that anyone with information feels empowered to come forward to help piece together what happened, not just for justice but for the peace of mind of all who knew Khloe and Terry. Praying for strength for their families and the entire Lanier High community.
