I've been following this case and it's just so upsetting to think about the ripple effects of such a tragedy. I can't stop wondering about those two kids who were there when it happened. They're so young, and I wonder if they'll ever remember anything about that night or just grow up hearing stories. It's a sad reality that their lives are forever changed even if they don't directly remember the incident. It also makes me question the kind of environment they were in. Having guns accessible in a home with children is a situation that requires such caution and responsibility. It's infuriating thinking about how this might have been preventable. My heart goes out to Rebecca’s family and friends, and I desperately hope those kids can grow up in a safe and loving environment despite the tragic events that unfolded.
