I keep thinking about the impact of the community's response in cases like Justin Charles Cline’s. It’s chilling to realize that more than 80 shots were fired, and yet the only witness reports we’ve seen describe a black sedan leaving the scene. I was reading about how people sometimes hesitate to speak up due to fear of retaliation, which is understandable given the violence. But it's more important than ever for those who can provide information to come forward to help bring closure for Justin’s family and ensure that those responsible are held accountable. I can’t imagine what his loved ones are going through right now, having to deal with not only their loss but the ongoing fear that the perpetrators are still out there. Let’s hope the community feels moved to support justice for Justin.
