I can't stop thinking about the safety measures in place in areas affected by frequent gun violence, like the South Side of Youngstown. It's deeply concerning that tragedies like what happened to Charles "Paupi" Pullen Jr. are still occurring. Why isn’t there more being done when it comes to preventative measures in these neighborhoods? With modern technologies such as ShotSpotter being in use, I really hope there are further efforts to enhance community safety and reduce incidents like this. Being proactive could potentially save lives—no family should have to endure such a loss. My thoughts are with Charles's loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.
