I’ve been following the case of the woman who went missing near Kitt Peak, and I can’t stop thinking about the crashed aircraft that was discovered not too far from her location. Has anyone else considered whether the crash and her disappearance could be connected somehow? I know it seems like a long shot, but could the crash have distracted her group, leading to the separation? Also, has anyone looked into whether the crash could have been seen as far as Santa Rosa? Just trying to piece together any potential connections. Any thoughts?
Has anyone looked into the connection between the crashed aircraft near the site where her body was found? I’ve been digging through some older local news articles and stumbled upon a small mention of a plane that went down not too far from where she was last seen. It seems strange that there hasn’t been more discussion about whether these incidents were related in any way. With the fire found near her body and the mention of a signal fire someone built, it just feels like there might be more here. Could someone involved with the crash have tried to reach out for help in the same area? Are there any reports on who was in that plane or if it was ever fully searched? Would love to hear what others have found, or if anyone has seen the police reports on this.
Let’s keep digging and see if we can piece more of this puzzle together.
I recently came across something odd while revisiting the case, and I'm surprised it hasn't been discussed more. So, there's mention of a signal fire built by a friend in the area where she was last predicted to be. This was reportedly close to where her remains were eventually found. I'm curious if anyone has more info on why her friend decided to do that? Was it a pre-arranged rescue plan, or was it just a spontaneous attempt to draw attention from potential search and rescue teams? The placement of a signal fire near a crash site seems more than just a coincidence, especially considering how easy it is to miss something like that in a rugged terrain. Any thoughts on whether this friend knew more than they're letting on, or do they genuinely deserve credit for potentially helping narrow the search area?
